That You May Believe: Light by Pastor Paul Dickerson

Jesus says “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” (John 8:12).

Often our vision fails us, even when we can see.  We see war, toxic politics, violence, failed relationships, etc.  Our eyes make us wonder if the darkness is winning.  “Is God in charge?  Are we alone to fend for ourselves?”  When Jesus calls himself “light” he reveals himself as a different kind of vision.  We have new eyes to see things the way they really are, not the way they appear.  How does Jesus help us see differently?  Clearly?
