Give it a Rest

Ephesians 1:3-14

We often define ourselves by what we chose, what we do, and all the ways we are moving forward. But the Gospel tells a different story. In Jesus, God has chosen you. He has redeemed you. He has guaranteed your future. This week we kick back and rest in the work that God has done for us in Jesus.

Questions for Reflection:
Where in life do you feel the most exhausted?

Paul uses the phrase “in Christ” nine times in these few verses. What does it mean to be “in Christ”?

Reflect on God’s work in Jesus for you. You are chosen. You are redeemed. Your future is guaranteed. You can rest in Jesus.
