Love Triangle by Pastor Paul Dickerson

Like a favorite show or book, 1 John keeps returning to the same theme: God is love. So, let us love one another.

In 1 John 4, the theme of God’s love reaches its crescendo as the apostle reminds us that love originates with God the Father, is revealed in the atoning sacrifice of God the Son, and is made complete in the transforming work of God the Holy Spirit. How does this Trinitarian lens of God’s love move us to love others in the same way?

“We love because He first loved us.” 1 John 4:19

he risen Jesus, you can never be the same.  This week we look at another resurrection implication from I John chapter 3.  “Let us not love in word or talk but in deed and in truth.”
