It is Good That We Are Here by Vicar Meseret Gobena

As we gather today, we are invited up to the mountain with Peter, James and John where the hidden glory of Christ blazed before human eyes. Peter speaks not from thought but from awe and wonder from the deepest place of his heart: “Lord, it is good that we are here.”  And if we are honest, Peter’s confession and longing lives in us as we behold Christ’s glory, a glimpse that steadies us not only on the mountaintop, but in the lowest valleys where we most need His light.
