We are planning Easter Drive In Services for April 12 at 8:30 and 10:30.

We have also contacted Captain Melissa Webb from the St. Louis County 3rd Precinct.  They are aware of our gathering and emphasize the importance of following all the guidelines listed below.  We do not want to cause undue stress on our first responders, so please drive safely and adhere to the rules.

  • If you are uncomfortable with leaving your home, it is completely fine to stay there.  An online Easter service will be emailed to you on Saturday.  You can do Easter at home!  If you are sick or feel vulnerable, we’ll pray for you at home.
  • Before leaving, check our website for updates: cmstl.org.  Weather or a last minute restrictions may change our plans.
  • Please arrive early in order that we can park a large number of cars in a new configuration.
  • When you arrive, parking attendants will direct you.  Enter at the main Lindbergh driveway by our sign.  You will receive a printed bulletin, and there will be pre-service music playing.
  • You must remain in your vehicle in order to ensure that we can safely and responsibly gather under the current protocol.
  • You may not transfer vehicles.  There can be no mixing of households.
  • Bathrooms will not be available.  Please go before you come.
  • The service will be about 45 minutes in length.
  • There will be an offering collection upon your exit.
  • Our witness to outsiders is incredibly important.  We will proclaim the Easter message while gathering responsibly and respectfully.  We want to cause no offense to our neighbors, therefore we will honor all efforts in our community to curb this virus.

As of today, the County Executive’s office has indicated to us that a parking lot gathering will fit within the current order.

We are adapting to the current reality.  It will not be a “normal Easter,” so we will make it an exceptional one.

Christ is risen!  May that message resound for all time!

Loved+Sent,

Pastor Jeff
