Advent is a season of anticipation at the arrival of the world’s Savior.  We often obsess over the baby Jesus.  Nativity scenes and mangers.  While the incarnation of Jesus is most certainly true, it’s one part of a whole.  This Advent we’re focusing on the whole person and work of Jesus.  We summarize this in manger, cross, and crown.  The presence, pardon, and power of God.  Today we take up the pardon of the cross.
