Fifteenth Sunday After Pentecost By Pastor Ryan Alvey

One of our church’s strategic priorities is to share the message of Loved + Sent. We are compelled to serve the Church—not just our church. One way we live this out is through our Mission Partners, both local, national, and abroad.

Today, we welcome our mission partner and friend, Pastor Ryan Alvey from St. Michael’s Lutheran Church in Bloomington, MN. His ongoing work with Pastor Hunde Takele—a guest preacher from last January—continues to reach youth from diverse backgrounds across the Twin Cities.

We share the same heart for the Gospel, trusting that God reaches those who are often overlooked and undervalued. This same Gospel is at the center of all that Pastor Ryan will share with us this morning.

As people who are Loved & Sent, we continue to walk forward in faith—knowing the Church is much bigger than Christ Memorial, and the Gospel is alive and active in cities much like our own.
