Love Has Grit by Pastor Jeff Cloeter

“Love” is a word that easily becomes a cliche.  From Hallmark cards to love songs, the word is often emptied of meaning. As the book of Hebrews closes, we are encouraged to “Let brotherly love continue” (Heb. 13:1). The verses immediately following show us what that looks like, and it’s not fluffy or sentimental. The cross is the clearest example: Love has grit.
