One Thing by Vicar Meseret Gobena

Today we will hear from our student pastor, Vicar Meseret Gobena.

In the Gospel of Luke, Jesus visits Martha in her home. While Martha makes last minute preparations, her sister Mary is less than helpful as she ignores house chores. Amidst this scene, we hear Jesus’ heart for Martha: What is most important has come to her with a great compassion to meet her deepest needs.
