The Remedy When the Night is Long and You Can’t Sleep By Pastor Jeff Cloeter

Today is Good Shepherd Sunday. Metaphorically the Good Shepherd is Jesus Christ. He lavishes the sheep with green pastures and still waters (Ps 23:1). He protects tender lambs from predatory evils (1 Samuel 17:34 – 35); and leads the flock to springs of living water (Rev. 7:17). Following Jesus, the sheep will never perish, neither shall anyone snatch them out of His hand (John 10:28).
