The Christian church celebrates a 50 day season of Easter, from the Day of Resurrection until Pentecost.  Furthermore, Sunday was designated as the day of worship because it’s the day our Lord rose.  Every Sunday is a “little Easter.”  In this season of Easter, we’re examining the post-resurrection accounts in John chapters 20 and 21.  What did the first eyewitnesses see?  What does it tell us today?  What does it mean for our life now?  

Today we also celebrate the vocation of motherhood in all its forms.  We thank God for mothers, grandmothers, and all godly women who bless our lives.
