you are welcome here

We’re excited for you to join us! Here’s what you can expect when you walk through the doors:

A place to worship

Worship is central to the Christian life. We believe that worship is both gift and response. First, we receive God’s gifts in his word, in bread and wine (communion), and in water (baptism). We then respond with prayer, praise, and thanksgiving. Beyond formal worship, we respond by worshiping with our whole lives in service, love, work, and witness. What we do in one hour on Sunday, we carry into the other 167 hours a week.

A unique space

We meet on Saturdays at 5:00pm (traditional worship) and Sundays at 8:30am (traditional worship) and 10:45am (contemporary worship) at Christ Memorial Lutheran Church. A former South County Target Store, it has been beautifully transformed into a unique worship space.

Arriving a few minutes early, gives you time to have a coffee and time for someone in the welcome team to say hello. You can park in most any space in the ample lot.

A friendly, relaxed atmosphere

There is no dress code or “Sunday best”. Just come as you are and wear whatever you feel most comfortable in. Dressed up or dressed down, on your best day or on your worst, you’re welcome as our guest. Bottom line: We’re glad you’re here!

To be greeted by friendly faces

Our welcome teams are waiting for you. They’ll greet you with a smile, help you get situated in our space, and point you in the direction of the all-important coffee station.

A worship service designed to impact your life today

Each service lasts a little over an hour. During that time, you’ll experience a – rooted in tradition but still unique – worship service and a biblically-based, engaging message from a member of our pastoral staff.

A great experience for your family

During service, children are encouraged to be in worship with their families and we have ways for them to participate within the service. We provide a family resource table with children’s worship bags, snacks, and scribble sheets for you to use in worship. Kids-and the noise they can bring at times-are part of our experience and we welcome them and everything that comes with.

An opportunity to meet new people

Our hope is that your first visit to Christ Memorial will not be your last; meaning, we want to get to know you better. To do so, we ask that you fill out one of our visitor cards or stop and talk to one of our pastors or leaders.

No expectations

You won’t be bored, embarrassed or asked for money (we do take an offering – but its for our membership and people committed to Christ Memorial, not required of our visitors). However, you will be warmly welcomed, encouraged in your faith – and we hope you would want to come again!

Still have questions?

If you have any other questions about Christ Memorial or what to expect when you visit, contact us. Hope to see you soon.
