Welcome to Christ Memorial Productions.

In the summer of 2005, Christ Memorial Lutheran Church relocated to its current location on Lindbergh Boulevard. Formerly a Target store, this location gave Christ Memorial all the space it needed to create a unique, multipurpose facility. This facility enables Christ Memorial’s members to serve the community with many new and exciting activities and ministries.

As a way to unite Christ Memorial members in their new space and to welcome the community, the idea of creating a first-ever Christ Memorial Production was born. Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (2005) was a surprise, award-winning hit, and its success led the church into a whole new area of ministry and community outreach.

In 2008, we officially became known as Christ Memorial Productions (CMP): a musical theater group and integrated ministry that combines the gifts and talents of those within the church and those from the community. CMP promotes an equal opportunity for all experience levels. We started with the intention to perform one musical production in the fall of each year.

In 2014 we expanded the ministry to formally include Christ Memorial’s spring Lenten drama under the CMP umbrella.

We have had the pleasure of performing to more than 20,000 people, earning numerous theatrical awards, and continuing to grow. We hope to become a greater presence in the local theatrical community, expand our creative opportunities, and continue producing outstanding shows that CMP has become known for.

We invite you to join Christ Memorial Productions family!
