Midweek school is designed for all children in grades 5 and 6 in preparation for confirmation in grades 7 and 8, but is especially recommended for children not attending Green Park Lutheran School. A Christ-centered curriculum emphasizes studying God’s Word for growing in our faith in our daily lives. Fifth grade will study the Old Testament; sixth grade will study the New Testament.
Midweek school meets every Wednesday from 6:30 – 7:30 p.m. beginning in September through the Lenten season (until Easter). A parent meeting is held the first week of class. Please pre-register through the church office. Students are supplied with a textbook, a workbook, and a paper Catechism book. Please send students with an NIV version Bible and a pen or pencil.
